Established in 2018, the Sunset Signature Series celebrates art, ideas, and inspiration by bringing world-class authors, visionaries, and performers to the heart of downtown Asheboro. The series is made possible through the dedicated support of Friends of the Randolph County Public Libraries, the Heart of North Carolina Visitors Bureau, and the City of Asheboro.

Over the years, the Sunset Signature Series has welcomed thousands of attendees and enriched the cultural life of our community through an extraordinary lineup of guests, including Elizabeth Smart, Ken Jennings, Abby the Spoon Lady, Holly George-Warren, Kyle Petty, Mark Mathabane, Derek Hinkey, and Dr. Temple Grandin.

Sunset Signature Series events are offered free of charge, ensuring that residents and visitors alike can enjoy meaningful cultural experiences and conversations—regardless of income.
